A quick post with a bunch of photographs and just a few words to share with you the pleasure of walking through the peaceful groves of Muir Woods National Monument in the early afternoon. I was lucky enough to share this walk with my family and my sister-in-law and her husband.

I shoot differently with the camera off a tripod. I find a greater degree of freedom to explore textures and smaller details. In reality, there’s no reason for this to be the case, but ce la vie.
